Our Global Projects

ASHM Global Programs leads health workforce development in sexual/reproductive health, bloodborne viruses, and emerging infectious diseases. 

 

We play a key role in assisting countries in responding to emerging infectious diseases like COVID-19 and Mpox by improving healthcare systems and sharing best practices.

By Region

Papua New Guinea

ASHM collaborates with organisations in Papua New Guinea including the Department of Health and the Catholic Church Health Services to strengthen the HIV, sexual and reproductive health and hepatitis B response across PNG.

Timor-Leste

In partnership with collaborating organisations including the Ministry of Health and Maluk Timor, ASHM is working to strengthen the capacity of health services to deliver HIV, sexual and reproductive health and hepatitis B care in Timor-Leste.

Asia

One of the ways ASHM supports the HIV, sexual and reproductive health and viral hepatitis response in South East Asia countries is through the development of clinical resources which promote person-centred care for priority populations. 

Pacific Islands

In partnership with collaborating organisations including governments and civil society, ASHM is working to strengthen the capacity of health services and community organisations to deliver HIV, sexual and reproductive health and hepatitis B care in Pacific Island countries.

Regional Projects

ASHM contributes to the regional HIV, SRHR and BBV responses and strengthens equitable person-centred health care through the facilitation of cross-country knowledge exchange and development of tools and resources for clinicians and policy makers.
