ASHM launched the online Hep C Community of Practice in November 2019. Membership is open to all health practitioners working in hepatitis C, with a focus on primary health practitioners.

The community can be accessed at http://HepCCoP.org.au. Recent system enhancements include the simplifying of log-on processes for those with existing MyASHM details to gain immediate access, or simply create a profile if they do not already have one.

The community was created to support clinicians and other health care professionals in managing and treating people living with hepatitis C. Members can seek input on cases or clinical queries, discuss models of care or innovative ways to link patients into care, share useful resources and promote CPD opportunities, post information on sector events or networking opportunities.

A select group of Clinical Advisors will continue to review posts, answer questions and provide advice within 48 hours.

Check out some of the recent posts, including a new case study discussing alcohol use in relation to cirrhosis and DAA treatment, and have your say at http://HepCCoP.org.au.
