To mark this year’s International Nurses Day, ASHM especially acknowledges one of ASHM's newest Board Directors, Jacqui Richmond, and a former and long serving ASHM Board Director and Vice President, Liz Crock for their remarkable service, support and dedication.
We also note that our Board is further complemented by Penny Kenchington, a prominent HIV and Sexual Health nurse practitioner in Queensland currently serving as an ASHM Board Vice President.
Dr Jacqui Richmond and Dr Liz Crock
Jacqui has worked in the viral hepatitis sector since 1998. She currently works at the Burnet Institute as the National Workforce Development and Health Service Delivery Project Manager for the Eliminate hepatitis C (EC) Australia partnership. This work focuses on building the capacity of the health workforce to test, treat and manage the health care needs of people with hepatitis C.
Liz is a Nurse Practitioner who specialised in infectious diseases and worked in HIV in the early 1990s as an HIV Clinical Nurse Specialist at Fairfield Infectious Diseases Hospital in Melbourne. She has worked with the Royal District Nursing Service, now Bolton Clarke HIV Team as Clinical Nurse Consultant in Melbourne for the last 17 years and is the current Vice President of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANZANAC).
On behalf of the ASHM Board and staff, we say thank you.
