What are the benefits of ASHM membership?

We aim to provide our members with many practical and valuable opportunities to stay on top of the latest research and news from across the sector. Not only does your membership fee provide us with vital financial support to continue our work, but we will endeavor to support you in your career within the HIV, viral hepatitis, other BBVs and the sexual and reproductive health sector.

ASHM membership is not just limited to information-sharing, networking, conference discounts, education and training, but also many other benefits. Please refer to our  membership benefits page for further information.

I don't go to the HIV&AIDS and sexual health conferences. Can I get a discount on my membership?

No. But conference discounts are only one of the many benefits we offer our members. ASHM members receive exclusive benefits such as voting at our annual general meeting and standing for office. Please refer to membership benefits page for more information.

I work in sexual health, viral hepatitis and/or other BBVs, but not HIV. Is ASHM relevant for me?

The scope of ASHM spans far beyond HIV. ASHM proudly represents health professionals who also work in the field of viral hepatitis, other BBVs, sexual and reproductive health.

ASHM is a founding member of the Australasian Sexual Health Alliance (ASHA). ASHM members can nominate ASHA as an area of interest, which means they will routinely get sexual health updates. ASHM members also get discounted registration to the Australasian Sexual Health Conference.
