John Millan is an Internal Medicine and Sexual Health Physician and is the President of the PNG Sexual Health Society. He has been working with ASHM in supporting health care workers capacity building programs in PNG for more than 15 years through facilitating Sexual Health, STI and HIV trainings and providing clinical supervision and mentoring support. 

He is currently the Clinical Consultant to the Sexual Reproductive Health Integration Project (SRHIP) in the Catholic Church Health Services supported by DFAT.

He provides technical support to the PNG National Department of Health by supporting STI and HIV training and assists with developing National protocols and treatment guidelines. 

He has visited the health Ministries in the Northern Pacific including Palau, Micronesia and the Marshal Island and assisted with making brief assessments of Sexual health, STI, HIV and TB services.
