Synopsis
In an ever-changing treatment landscape, this evening update will provide Queensland HIV s100 Prescribers and members of the Sexual Health Society of Queensland the opportunity to hear about the latest treatments, research, and key developments in improving the management and outcomes of people living with HIV.
Event Description
<p>This update will be hosted by Dr. Judith Dean of the University of Queensland. There will be 6 speakers; Professor Chloe Orkin, Dr. Laura Waters and Dr. Nneka Nwokolo from the UK, and Shaun Staunton, Robert Muscolino, and Melissa Warner from the Queensland community. The presentations will include information on new and injectable treatments, community perspectives, and COVID and HIV prevention and care. </p> </br> <p><b>Learning Methods</b></p> <p>Online interactive workshop.</p> </br> <p><b>Target Audience</b></p> <p>This update is aimed at Queensland HIV s100 Prescribers and members of the Sexual Health Society of Queensland.</p> </br> <p><b>Recognition</b></p> <p>HIV s100 Prescribers will receive 2 HIV CPD points for attending. </p> <p>Certificates will be provided to assist with CPD self-claim processes.</p> </br> <p><b>Inclusions</b></p> <p>This is a free update. </p> </br> <p><b>Registration Cancellations</b></p> Registration cancellations and amendments must be notified in writing to ASHM. Cancellations received before 28 February 2021 will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations received in writing after 28 February 2021 will incur a $70 per day cancellation fee. This fee may be waived in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of ASHM.</P> </br> <p><b>Substitutions:</b></p> <p>As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any penalty. ASHM must be advised of the transfer in writing.
