Lismore, on the far North Coast of NSW, is a regional city offering a laid-back lifestyle with the convenience of a city; a thriving cultural scene, surrounded by the natural beauty of UNESCO World Heritage-listed national parks, hinterland villages and only a short drive to popular Byron Bay and beaches.

The North Coast Public Health Unit (NCPHU) provides the opportunity to participate in the delivery of a broad range of clinical services in response to ongoing and emerging public health issues in the community.

The NCPHU services are delivered across both the Mid North Coast and Northern NSW Local Health Districts, spanning an area from Johns River in the south to Tweed Heads on the Queensland border in the north.

Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Physician, and/or be eligible to undertake overseas trained specialist pathways, and be a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine or recognised equivalent and have demonstrated recent clinical experience in Sexual Health/HIV.

The position is permanent, part-time, 28 hours per week.
