ASHM is seeking a new staff member to support the Conference Division in the roll out of its suite of local and international conferences. This is a varied and fast paced role which plays an integral part in supporting the team. With your previous experience in an events company or working in an office environment in a support role, you will have well-developed written communication skills and a high-level of verbal communication skills, including a professional telephone manner. Candidates must be confident, with strong organisational skills, detail-oriented, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to work within a team environment to meet strict deadlines and undertake a range of support functions.
ASHM is seeking candidates with tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or Events Management, enrolment in same or equivalent experience. Good computer skills are also required and experience with an event management system is desirable.
ASHM provides a flexible and supportive working environment. The base/taxable salary for this position is from $41,171 per annum, based on the experience of the candidate. In addition, 10% superannuation is paid, plus time off in lieu, leave loading and non-taxable fringe benefit salary packaging options are offered.
