About
This DLP was produced by ASHM in 2005 in consultation with the IASHC and the NACCHO.
The DLP focuses on issues related to sexual health, HIV and hepatitis C for Indigenous communities in Australia.
It provides up to date information and discusses the importance of delivering this information about sensitive topics in culturally appropriate ways to diverse Indigenous communities.
This package is intended for Indigenous health care workers as well as mainstream non-Indigenous health care workers who have Indigenous clients.
It is distributed, free of charge, to Aboriginal Medical Services, other community controlled health organisations and relevant health service providers and training organisations around Australia.
