The coverage of the 15th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI 2008, Boston, Massachusetts, 3-6 February) includes a wide array of individual presentations and symposia, as well as summaries of some of the hottest topics in HIV research. People receiving treatment for pulmonary TB are no more likely to die if they start antiretroviral treatment than their counterparts without TB according to research by Westreich et al.
