Pacific Society visits ASHM

ASHM hosted a visit by the Executive Officer of OSSHHM
In late April, ASHM hosted a visit by the newly-appointed Executive Officer of the Oceania Society for Sexual Health and HIV Medicine (OSSHHM), Toakase Ratu. The appointment of an EO and the establishment of a Secretariat in Suva, Fiji, mark important steps forward for OSSHHM.
Toakase spent a week in Sydney meeting with various Divisions within ASHM's Secretariat, as well as other key Australian organisations and institutions, including the National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS and the national HIV research centres.
ASHM has now signed a Memorandum of Understanding with OSSHHM, and Toakase's visit included lengthy discussions about future collaborations and support.
