This program has been developed by AH&MRC and ASHM and will include the following:

  • An overview of the epidemiology of BBI and STIs with specific emphasis on rates among Aboriginal people
  • The natural history and transmission of HIV and hepatitis B and C
  • Advanced issues around hepatitis C including testing, pre- and post-test discussion, treatment and supporting positive patients
