AIVL forum to gain support for needle exchange program trial in Australian prisons

Untitled document

The Australian Injecting and Illicit Drug User League (AIVL) is holding a national forum on Needle Exchange Programs (NEP) in prisons, in conjunction with World Hepatitis Day and National Hepatitis Awareness Week. This provides an excellent opportunity to highlight the issue of blood-borne viruses in prisons and in doing so, to progress the agenda towards gaining support for trial of a NEP in an Australian prison.
