About The Program

ASHM's International Program is part of Australia's regional response to the HIV epidemic in the Asia-Pacific region. The Program provides training, placements, technical and policy advice, and clinical resources.

The Program works to increase knowledge about HIV prevention, treatment and care amongst those involved in the medical, public health and community responses to HIV and AIDS epidemics in the Asia Pacific region.

ASHM's coverage of international HIV and AIDS issues is provided in the following ways:

  • Through news and updates on this site
  • Regular and special ASHM publications
  • An international stream at the ASHM annual conference
  • Provision of clinical resources to those involved in HIV and AIDS treatment and care
