The NSP Worker Meeting will be held at Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh, NSW from Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25 September 2009.  Enquiries about the NSP workers meeting should be directed to: vanessa.towell@ashm.org.au.

 

The WDP Training Directory contains details of many courses and training opportunities available in the sector. It also contains downloadable application forms and details for study grants. It can be accessed here.

 

The former staff of the program have not moved to ASHM and have instead taken up other opportunities. The ASHM secretariat and the sector as a whole wish them every success in their new roles. Norman Booker and Rob Wilkins have made a very significant contribution to the sector and the program. They are both highly skilled facilitators and workforce planners who have assisted many organisations in our sector. They have left an exciting program and ASHM must now rise to the challenge of providing such a quality program across the state. It is a challenge that we, at ASHM are looking forward to. We will be commencing recruitment for new staff  as soon as the contract arrangements have been finalised by the NSW Department of Health. In the interim, we will be ensuring that work continues on the Study Grants program, NSP workers meeting and Rural Forum.

 

ASHM will be concentrating on maximising the opportunities associated with the transition to review some of the existing program components, while looking at what new initiatives may be able to be added. Enquiries about the NSP workers meeting should be directed to: vanessa.towell@ashm.org.au.
