Australian Antiretroviral Guidelines

At its February 2005 meeting the Australian Health Minister's Advisory Committee on HIV and STI endorsed the USA Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in HIV-1 Infected Adults and Adolescents and requested that the Australian Antiretroviral Guidelines Panel develop and regularly update commentary relevant to the Australian setting.

The US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) released the latest version of the Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in HIV-1-Infected Adults and Adolescents on Dec 1 2009. The 2009 edition of the DHHS Guidelines may be accessed via the link below (see International Antiretroviral Guidelines).

Annual Antiretroviral Guidelines Consensus Discussion

The annual Antiretroviral Guidelines Consensus Discussion is designed as a forum to examine issues of importance arising from the USA Department of Health and Human Services Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents HIV-1 Infected Adults and Adolescents. The 2009 Antiretroviral Guidelines Consensus Discussion was incorporated into the clinical stream of the Australasian HIV/AIDS Conference program.
