ASHM write in response to the recently completed independent review conducted on the Brisbane Sexual Health and Human Immunodeficiency Virus Service (SHHS) by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd.

25 July 2013

ASHM writes in response to the recently completed independent review conducted on the Brisbane Sexual Health and Human Immunodeficiency Virus Service (SHHS) by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd. This review was conducted following the announcement of 11 July 2013 that staff numbers within SHHS would be significantly reduced. At that time we communicated our support for the independent review, but as the peak organization supporting the HIV/sexual health workforce we now have significant concerns flowing from the content of this review.
