    ​Indraveer Chatterjee, Principal Solicitor from HIV/AIDS Legal Centre, discusses issues around HIV and the law in NSW. Topics explored include disclosure and follow up of a HIV positive result, duties of counselling and confidentiality for doctors and health care workers under the Public health Act (NSW) 2010.

     As provided is an overview of the duties a doctor may owe to third parties, such as the sexual partners of patients with HIV and a quick overview of the NSW Health Management Framework for people living with HIV who risk infecting others.

    Target audience: HIV s100 Prescribers, health professionals, policy makers and health promotion staff working with people with HIV.
