Australians live in a multicultural, multi-layered society. We identify ourselves by our background, gender, culture, beliefs, experiences and by our sexuality. Individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTI) have diverse sexual health needs.

This module aims to inform health professionals about the diversity within the LGBTI community and to reduce stigma and discrimination, particularly for gay men and men who have sex with men, by ensuring their specific health needs are being met.

Target Audience: GPs, health professionals
Duration: One hour
CPD: RACGP 2 Category 2 QI&CPD points
Funding Body:  STI in Gay Men’s Action Group (STIGMA)
