This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a cutting edge, internationally recognised drug policy research team. The successful incumbent will build and co-ordinate a program of alcohol and other drug treatment service system research including new research on treatment purchasing and organisational factors which drive treatment outcomes. As a three-year core position within the Drug Policy Modelling Program there is excellent mentorship available, and the opportunity to build an international profile in alcohol and other drug treatment service systems research through high quality academic publications and new grants.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have research expertise in the design, conduct, analysis and publication of alcohol and other drug treatment research
- Be an experienced early career researcher with an emerging research grant track record and be looking to build a national and international profile in the area; and
- Have a PhD in public health, epidemiology or a related field
