Australasian Society for Infectious Diseases Annual Scientific Meeting 2010

Registration brochure and call for abstracts
In addition to clinical infectious diseases, this meeting provides a forum for the presentation and discussion of a broad spectrum of basic science and clinical research areas attractive to delegates practising in microbiology, public health & epidemiology, infection control, international & travel medicine. Special Interest Group Meetings in Mycology, Health Infection Control and Paediatrics are once again regular features of the program.
 
"Hot Topics in the Tropics" will be the theme of the meeting and this will cover a broad array of cutting edge themes in infectious diseases (not only tropical medicine!). The invited international speakers will present key insights into malaria, vaccinology, and microbial genomics. Other sessions will cover topics including viral hepatitis, mycobacterial disease, infections in intensive care, clinical trials in infectious diseases and much more.
 
An exciting addition to the 2010 program will be the inclusion of two specialised half-day workshops on Clinical Trials and HIV to be held on Sunday the 30th of May. These will include both local and international leaders in the field, and provides a unique opportunity to enhance your meeting experience.
