The 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP 9) is being held in Bali, Indonesia this week (9-13 August). ICAAP the second largest AIDS forum in the world selected Indonesia to host this important meeting this year to advance regional efforts to respond effectively to the challenge of HIV and AIDS into the future. The theme for the conference is ?Empowering People and Strengthening Networks?. ICAAP9 is being attended by almost 3000 people from 65 countries, not only in Asia and Pacific region, but also from Africa, Europe, and America.
