Hepatitis B is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus. It can lead to liver damage and liver cancer. Many people who have the virus don’t know that they are infected and in many countries the most common way hepatitis B is passed on is from mother to baby at birth.

 

 

Learning Methods:

The workshop will:

• Improve your knowledge and understanding of hepatitis B

• Increase your awareness of the impact of chronic hepatitis B on CALD communities

• Discuss your role in increasing awareness of hepatitis B among CALD communities

Registration Terms and Conditions

Registration Cancellations:

Registration cancellations and amendments must be notified in writing to ASHM. Cancellations received before 6th July 2017 will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations received in writing after 6th July 2017 will incur a $70 per day cancellation fee. This fee may be waived in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of ASHM.

Substitutions

As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any penalty. ASHM must be advised of the transfer in writing. Please email the name, position, phone and email address of the new delegate to education@ashm.org.au.
