This course is provided through two online modules and a two-day workshop. It outlines the public health aspects and clinical management of common STIs, HIV and hepatitis B and advocates for a proactive and practical approach to health care and evidence-based practice.

The program provides a comprehensive overview of population health principles including epidemiology, health promotion, contact tracing and common practice issues related to sexual health. Participants will gain experience in completing sexual health histories and risk assessments for STIs.

The clinical spectrum and management of common STIs, HIV and hepatitis B are discussed through presentations and interactive small group work.
