The New Zealand HIV update is an annually scheduled plenary session and interactive workshop for HIV Clinicians in New Zealand, with a program focusing on the educational needs of clinicians and HIV Prescribers. The 2017 update was clinically focused, including speaker presentations on two themes: “Prevention” and “Screening for malignancy”.

ASHM hosted Australian speakers for the 2017 clinical update:

  • Professor Andrew Grulich
  • Associate Professor Richard Hillman
  • Associate Professor Edwina Wright

Speakers from all over New Zealand were invited to contribute short lectures, each answering a topical clinical question. The meeting will close with networking over a formal sit down dinner.
