The 48th Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) / 46th Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) Annual Meeting will be held in Washington DC from 25 to 28 October 2008. The conference is being held jointly in response to the interest of the societies' members.

Abstracts will be accepted until 19 May 2008. Accepted abstracts will be scheduled as either poster or slide presentations.
